Noise Festival 2014 Awards

Earlier this year, I entered several pieces of work into Noise Festival 2014. Of the four entered, a total of three pieces of my work have been marked ‘Excellent’ by the Festival’s team.

The Festival’s website describes Noise Festival as “A national celebration of the UK’s next generation of creative talent” in which “An impressive line-up of top creative industry professionals handpick entries, across 14 categories covering film, fashion, fine art, music, photography, graphics, new media, games, product design, comedy / spoken word and enterprise.”

With Brian Eno heading music & arts and Ian Livingstone on games & new media, I’ll admit I got a little carried away in my mind with the possibilities. I’m not entirely sure whether either actually saw my work, although apparently I am now allowed to attach the above banner jpegs to my work! My dreams of my generative music application being bankrolled by Brian Eno may not have come true, but it is a huge pleasure to have my work recognised.
